Breckwell P2700FS

Breckwell P2700FS

From Breckwell
The P2700 wood pellet stove has a large, three sided bay window with a big flame, powerful heat delivery, and modern, gold-accented styling. It has 46,000 BTU input and 80% efficiency plus a 50-pound hopper capacity. The P2700FS has a low profile for a stove with this high of a BTU output.

I thought I had a 2700FS,but after reading these reviews I must be wrong. Bought stove in 2003 for main heat in new 1800 sq.ft home have yet to turn on backup heat! To be truthful I replaced combustion motor last winter because ORIGINAL was starting to make a little noise. Runs 24/7 from mid Sept. through mid April. (West Virginia has 2 seasons,Winter and August)

I have had this model for several years and it works great! Heats my entire house 1500 square feet. I did have to replace the blower motor and an exhaust heat sensor but they were easy repairs

Please if you are looking at this stove RUN. Run away fast. How they can keep selling this stove is beyond me.The only nice thing about this stove is it looks nice and the ash pan. Everything else is TRASH. The first stove we bought worked about three mos. before we started having problems. Thank god Southerlands Lumber in Las Cruces, NM replaced some of the parts. When they had enough of our ...

I definitely agree, i would not buy this stove again if i had it to do over. I am very mechanically inclined and very glab of that since i have had to all but rebuild the stove completely. I have put new fans, auger, and control board on it. The new parts work, but, the exhaust fan has overheated since day one and it's the "new"updated version! The bearings are now going out, squeeling nonstop, ...

Local radio stations held an auction I won this stove. I paid a little more then half of advertised retail and it was way too much. I am constantly cleaning it. It eats pellets like there is no tomorrow. I have a friend who bought a pellet stove at Lowe's that uses half the pellets and puts out way more heat. Steer away from Breckwell, far far away.

I agree with many of the other reviews. This stove has been a huge disappointment. It serves as mere supplemental heating for a single room (an addition). The stove gets very sooty and must be cleaned daily. The burn pot must be cleaned/emptied almost daily or it will crust over due to incomplete combustion of the pellets, allowing embers to continue burning after the stove shuts off. ...

All and all it has not been bad for us (1200sqft bungalow). Easily heats the whole us as we have it in the basement. We recommend running it on manual to provide a more constistant operating atmosphere for the stove. Wish it had another setting between 3 and 4 though. Have had some issues minor issues with it shutting off from time to time but likely to do exist location of exhaust (we were ...

Blower has gone out twice in a year...no communication that it was upgrade due to poor quality and sent us the old model..it has been nothing but a lemon. Customer satisfaction is not going to happen through Breckwell. Supervisor gives no results...can't get forwarded to talk to upper management. This was the poorest purchase we have every experienced...With the first blower they even shipped ...

Stove tends to have problems, like the switch broke - the black part snapped right off. Customer service while friendly is worthless. All the will offer is a new $300 board. Would not even try to ask anyone there that knows something about them if they could pull a switch from a defective board and let me buy it. Conclusion: the stove is not worth the $5 switch to fix the board. These people are ...

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I have a lemon!!! The dealer has replaced everything on this stove and it still does not operate correctly. I can not get anyone in upper management with this company. Has anyone ever talked with a supervisor?

Beautiful looking stove but that's as far as it goes. We had the service man from the dealership where we purchased the P2700 to our home 4 times and it still didn't work. To many problems to list them all... the stove kept shutting itself off, the burn pot filled within a couple of hours, it made a rattling sound and the final straw was when our carbon monoxide detector went off twice. We're ...

An attractive stove, but it has never operated well and customer service is non-existent. Phone calls to Breckwell's tech support department will be greeted by a friendly recorded message (promising to return calls in the order received), but the calls are never returned. I left messages on five different occassions, none of which were ever returned. The stove is finicky and quickly shuts ...
