Purchased and installed for 08/09. October '10, blower fan bearing started squealing (i'd kept the impeller clean. Replacement blower had a different motor housing profile, perfectly blocking access to a mounting screw. very frustrating time. December 11, same blower starting to squeal again. Poorly designed for service, too noisy. Blowers mount to thin sheet metal, not good for high rpm ...Overall Performance:

Bought the stove before winter of 08/09. 1) The dealer appeared knowledgeable about the stove in there showroom, but turned out to be useless about operation questions. 2) The manual is great on installation and inadequate on the finer points of operation. Very simple yet effective stove. Perfect for smaller 1 story homes, cabins or cottages. 14 years of using the original P22 Charm and no major components replaced to date. Does not have all the bells & whistles of many of today's stoves but she get's 'er done!
