Mr. Dave Curtis- March 7, 2011. Just because you are one of the few people who have not had a backpuffing problem, do not assume that we do not have common sense. I have burned wood stoves in the same configuration in my homestead without incident for several decades until I ran this stove. Therefore, COMMON SENSE would indicate that the stove may be tempermental and through no fault of the operator it smokes.
