NU-TEC Upland 207
This is our second year with our almond Upland 207 pellet stove. We've heated our home with wood for 30+ years using high quality Vermont Castings, Consolidated Dutchwest and Jotul wood stoves. The Upland is equally as good as any of these but takes a whole lot less time and effort from us and, the fire is clearly visible through the large glass door. Everyone who has seen our Upland comments on how nice it looks and how warm the heat radiating from it is.
The Upland is our main source of heat - we didn't use our oil fired heat at all last winter. I connected a thermostat to the stove which keeps the house temperature constant. It doesn't get too warm on mild days but also doesn't get cold on cooler evenings when we're not home to increase the stove setting.
The included power inverter is a great feature which worked great during our recent power outage.
Peter was a pleasure to deal with. He takes the time to explain things in detail.
If you're even thinking about replacing a wood stove with a pellet stove, The Upland 207 is the one to buy.
