Blaze King King Classic KEJ 1107
We had a Blaze King installed in Nov of 2011, with a new chimney, all work done by Wholesale Fireplace in Red Deer Ab.
We had our first chimeny fire 3 weeks later, no damage. Since then we have had 7 more chimney fires, have placed MANY call to Blaze King, spoke directly to Allen Murphy, vice president, no help from that end, and the dealer that installed it, no help either.
We have moisture tested our wood, pine, it is less then 15%, our chimney is a straight run, 8" diameter.
We have quit burning since then, and now have a useless woodstove, and no one to stand by their product, or workmanship.
Needless to say, we are not impressed with anything to do with Blaze King, or Wholesale Fireplace.
Of course there is more to this story, about the many phone calls, fire department, etc.
And...yes we were burning it properly, I have owned these before with no problems.
