Breckwell Classic Cast
Overall it is a decent value for the money. The 42,000BTU rating is a little misleading in that Breckwell does not recommend running at the high setting for more than 2 hours. Hence, the stove does not keep up when it gets below about 15 degrees F outside, and our home is smaller than the 1,500 sqft Breckwell states the stove will heat. So our oil bill has been a little higher than I was planning for because we've had to use that at times to supplement the pellet stove.
The stove burns dirtier than the other stove I am familiar with, which is a Harmon P68. Glass requires attention 2 to 3 times a day no matter the pellets being used or stove settings. I've had two installers look at it because it runs so dirty to see if anything is wrong, but they've both said the installation is great.
The convection blower has become much louder in the 4 months it's been running. Currently working with my dealer to get this replaced, as it is still under warranty, and it looks like Breckwell will replace for free. Of course they only warranty the part, so I will still have to pay for the labor.
I have spoken a few times to Breckwell representatives directly and they have been very helpful and have responded to my issues in a timely manner, so no complaints on the customer service front.
PS - Skip the wireless thermostat if you buy this stove. The stove will hook up to any 500mV or less thermostat, which you can get at a hardware store for about 10% of cost of the Breckwell remote.
