I replaced my Kent Tile stove which served me exceedingly well for 25 or so years. This is my second winter with the Regency & to say I am disappointed in it's performance is an understatement. It will not heat my 1500 sf home. Last winter it wouldn't go above 63º. I changed wood suppliers (oak both years) and this year shut down part of the house and I can get it up to 65º. It was ...Overall Performance:

Superior wood stove. It is well worth the investment. I burned 1/3 less wood with this stove than the old type non-EPA. Only rated 4 on efficency as most pellet stoves are more efficent.Overall Performance:

the design of the stove that I have , A Drolet Savannah, 4 years old is not very satisfactory, I refer to the smoke exhaust system, Every time you open the door to load it, out comes small amounts of smoke into the room, due I believe to the smoke exhausting near the front door instead of the back.Overall Performance:

Worst $3,000 investment that I have made in years! Previously had a Harman & should have stuck with that brand. The Regency is hard to load, hard to remove ashes, doesn't stay clean, doesn't heat well. Should have done more research and found a more efficient stove - I only have a 1400 sq. ft. house & this stove just doesn't do the job promised.Overall Performance:
